Christianity teaches that a triune God, an eternal Community, created humans in his image so that they will be eager for intimate relationships with him and each other (Genesis 1:26-27; 2:18, 22-24). We were made to be in relation with each other. Knowing another and being known by them is what it means to be a person. God knows us intimately and we were made to know him (Acts 17:26-27). After their sin, they were spiritually separated from him. That intimate communion between God and Man was lost. Our connection to the Source of Life was severed. Does anybody have this frequently? The only thing I've found to combat it is starving myself, drinking water exclusively, and exercising daily. The attention span thing I know is a symptom of the phones, and modern social interactions. Even if haven't destroyed your patience threshold and attention span from scrolling on your phone, society is forcing this behavior on you. That is to say: other people have destroyed their own attention spans from phones, and their behavior (impatience, impersonal) rubs off on you. The food I know is poison. What the fuck can you eat anymore? I can't even sit though a two hour movie of play a calm story driven video games without losing focus or falling asleep. Anyone else feeling like this all the time? Listened to a few vids and podcasts just because I've been curious about it for a few years. Delved in and out. Bigfoot, because why not, let's entertain any possibility. But what if the post wwII ruskie gov slipped em a little newfangled acid and speed to see what would happen? Both vets and college students were in the party, the tenth hiker bowed out early and maintained gov involvement till his death in 2013. I'm really just a passive conspiracy theorist. I don't dig deep into things. But every time I scratch the surface I keep hitting a vein about the CIA. Our government created a branch and funded it, and that branch was responsible for intelligence. But because of what that particular branch was purposed for, it grew to become its own thing. Perhaps gathering intelligence turned out to be the most powerful attribute. And then a branch of the government actually ended up controlling the entire thing. The tail wagged the dog. Perhaps there are layers of government. The top layer is the one we see on TV. And I'm not saying that the president answers to shadow people. I'm saying that the president is unaware of who is really in control. A government agency gone rogue. With the privilege of using tax dollars. I've allowed myself to get into a couple Reddit debates recently (I know, I have much better things to do), and I noticed a couple occasions where the user seemed like a bot, and when I ended up pressing them on specifics in a debate, they quickly deleted their whole account. To me, it seems odd to delete your account just because of an online conversation. It seems like deleting the account would be the way to cover any tracks and prevent any unwanted attention coming your way. But, this is just a theory. Anybody else experience something similar? Just pure speculation here, albeit backed by some statistics of engagement and known organizations/governments that deploy “online disinformation correctors” … I’d wager, especially in the top subs like News, World News, and Politics… less than 25% of those are real genuine people expressing their authentic thoughts. You’ve got multiple countries corporations organizations bots That are fighting for your mind. They are scared shitless of the Internet. The free flow of ideas and information of the populace that goes against any given narrative. There’s likely a huge chance at any given moment you’re not interacting with a real human being expressing their real thoughts on any given matter. As someone who has used Reddit under multiple accounts for privacy reasons since early 2010’s, it’s extremely easy to spot. We know the NSA has backdoors into all phones built right into the chips so having your data in a "Secure Enclave" doesn't do much good. Advanced malware can also harvest data from your phone. China is using facial recognition software to track its citizens everywhere they go (you're constantly on camera over there). Apple aggressively pushes Face ID despite it not being better than fingerprint. Face ID saves a 3D scan of your face that's way more accurate than a photograph and is linked to your ID. I can't say if Apple is in on it (probably not) but if the government is harvesting Face ID data (or steals it or buys it in the future) couldn't it massively improve facial recognition software programs? Right now security cameras aren't so great and facial recognition software is far from perfect, but Face ID could make it nearly impossible to hide, well, your face. But what if hip hop rappers since the 1980s have been paid by the government, the man, the new world order, whatever you want to call it, to entice violence and promote drug use amongst black people? I was around for the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis, and there was far more information and public concern about those hostages.
