My mom was denied religious exemption from the vaccine
So basically as you can assume, my mom is going to lose her job very soon. My dad just retired about a year ago and he’s on disability so he can’t legally work. I’m a junior in HS and my sister is turning 16 soon so we’ll both be able to help pay the bills, but I see the future being rough for not just us, but for everyone. I have a theory that there are bots waiting on this sub to downvote and argue any vaccine related posts in order to make you feel like you are totally incorrect and delete the post. It's like a metaphor for IRL. As long as you don't give in to the initial pressure, eventually you find support.
It seems like specifically here whenever I post something about vaccines or covid in general I get mauled by people telling me how wrong I am and that "this is the misinformation" that is ruining this sub. It genuinely made me delete several posts. But then I left a post up about vaccines corresponding with high cases, and after a day it was mostly support and got over a thousand upvotes. I just got fired for not taking the vaccine. Yet my twin brother has covid months after getting vaccinated.
I do not believe in getting vaccinated for something you have already contracted. I had covid 7 months ago and decided it is an unnecessary risk to get a vaccine i have antibodies for. I also have a heart murmur which luckily i havent had too many issues with so far. After seeing the large amount of heart issues that have been prevelent with the vaccine i just cant risk it. Low and behold my brother now has covid after getting the johnson and johnson vaccine months ago. It makes me believe that these shots have nothing to do with covid. So today on a social media account account I have, I got into a discussion with a staunchly pro-vaccine dude about how lockdown would end in the country I currently reside in. He was stating that everyone should get the vaccine and that once everyone is vaccinated and cases go down, lockdown will be over and our freedoms will come back. When I challenged him by calling BS and pointing to Israel as an example of a failed vaccine state, he used the classic ''the vaccine was never supposed to stop infection or stop the spread''. Well OK then genius... If that's your stance, why bother getting the vaccine? If literally everyone got the vaccine, the virus will still spread, still mutate and still infect everyone.
