What are your favorite lesser known conspiracy theories in music?

I’ll start with a fun one that I dunno how original it is but—John Denver.

1) Born in Roswell, NM on a military base. 2) Country Roads, Take me home has a nod to the blue ridge mountains which apparently houses the nuclear fallout base for the politicians from Washington, DC. I found that interesting that he’d call out that specific set of mountains 3) died in an experimental airplane in Monterrey Bay. Why was he flying some weird ass plane? 4) was not invited to the “we are the world” which infuriated him because he was…drumroll… an alien and he didn’t die in the Monterrey Bay he just went back to his alien civilization

John Denver was an alien I think.
