I have a friend who is a doctor and he said that he tried ordering ivermectin for his patient in the hospital.

He immediately got called by multiple pharmacists, asking for the indicated use. Lots of arguments ensued. And they said they needed to check with the hospital management. They wouldn’t prescribe the medication without authorization.

Then the hospital CMO (chief medical officer) calls my friend directly, and says that his order was inappropriate and against medical evidence! And in a not very subtle way said that if he tried ordering it again he would be put under review.

Funnily enough, they have no problem with remdesivir! Clear proof that the medical system is fucked!
